Description: A shortened verion of Transwab, specially designed to fit in special transport containers when sending specimens to reference laboratories for further invesigation.

 

Method of use: Take colony (colonies) from agar plate using swab, and immediately immerse in the transport medium. Not intended for direct use on patients.

 

Features: Short transport tube, and short swab. Fits in most of the commonly used transport containers.
